Katherine offers lessons in her student’s homes in the surroundingarea when her schedule permits. Katherine offers a number of importantmusic aspects in her lessons: music performance, note-reading, musictheory, scales and technique, and music improvisation. Katherine hosts student recitals twice a year. This gives her students the valuable opportunity to perform and share their musical accomplishments with their family, friends and the world.  

She is a founding member of the The Royal Conservatory of Music Development Program. She is also a member of ASCAP, The American Society of Composers, Authors andPublishers, the American Federation of Musicians Union and Chamber Music America.

Katherine Peterson teaches private piano and violin lessons in her music studio in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She has taught private piano and violin lessons for the past 20 years. Katherine draws upon a wealth of professional music training, performing, composing, recording and teaching experience. 

As a highly-trained and accomplished violinist, pianist, performer, recording artist, and composer, Katherine offers her students an exciting, complete and broad musical education at their private music lessons. 

Katherine carefully designs a unique program of study for each student according to their goals, personality and talents.  Katherine teaches a variety of styles including classical, contemporary popular, New Age Music  She coaches her more advanced  students on music improvisation and composition.
